About Our Adoptable Pets

Our adoptable pets vary in breed, size and age, but they are all full of personality and eager find their forever homes!

Our adoption fees are:

$350 for puppies under 1 year old

$250 for adolescents and adults between 1 year old to 6 years old

$150 for 7 years old and older

We also have a SENIOR-FUR-SENIOR PROGRAM: Adoption Fees are waived for Seniors (65yo+) adopting a Senior dog (7yo+).

Fees may vary depending on each dog OR length of stay.

Every adoption includes:

  • Spay/Neuter

  • DHPP/Bordetella Vaccines

  • Rabies Vaccine

  • Dewormer and/or Flea & Tick Treatment (if needed)

  • Microchip (lifetime paid & registered)

  • All individual appropriate medical care when needed (surgeries, dentals, medications, grooming, etc)​

Our Adoption Process

Our adoption application is a simple form that we kindly ask of you to fill out prior to meeting and adopting.

It serves as a way to help us to get to know you, your lifestyle and the type of dog that will best suit your needs and requirements.


For example:

  1. If we see that you are looking for a mellow and easy-going dog, then we will direct you towards a dog in our care that is mellow rather than a hyper dog. Vice Versa.

  2. If we do not currently have a dog in our rescue that you are looking for/will fit your household, then we will hold onto your application and contact you when one does show up.

  3. We may also direct you towards dogs that that are in the care of other rescues, shelters, or courtesy posts of pets that are still in the care of their owners.

At Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary, the rule "first come, first serve" does NOT apply here.
​We want to ensure that the right dog goes to the right family and that your family gets the right dog. We reserve the right to deny any application and potential adopter if we feel there is a reason the home will not be a suitable fit for the dog.
